Vocab relating to We

Style- In We, the author rearranges his words so it is almost like a math equation, so it is different than ours to make seem like it is more in the future.
Tone- The author's attitude is very different in We to show that people do not have tones in the book because they are all supposed to be robots.
Irony- The ironic part of this book is that they refer to us as ancestors, which is weird that they are that far ahead in the future.
Plot- In We, there isn't much of a plot yet, except for the fact that D-503 wants to have sex with I-330.
Characterization- In We, the author makes it seem like D-503 really existed, because of how much he had in common with known people in today's world.
Setting- The story takes place on the One-State in the future.
Point of view- The point of view in We is that the government becomes more corrupt and that people lost a lot of freedom.
Symbol- A symbol in We is how their names are numbers and letters.  This represents how today that we are not very different.  We are all identified by numbers but we just don't realize it.
Theme- It is hard to tell what the main idea of the story is because I have not read it all yet but I think the meaning will have something to do with relating back to our society.
